Do cats' lives seem like soap operas sometimes? Well, you know, some felines are known to "cat around" - not unlike some of those soap characters. I'm Nikki, a 2-year-old mama cat who was found with an older kitten named Victoria, and three young kittens. A man kept us in his garage in Zumbrota for about two months before he brought us to Paws and Claws. Then we all went to a foster home. Our foster mom named us for characters in a favorite soap opera, "The Young and The Restless". We shared mommy duties with all three kittens, but now I am ready to move on to a home of my own. I enjoyed wrestling with my babies, then getting them groomed. At times, I would watch them carefully from a high bench. I was not eating well at the shelter and was losing weight, so I went back to my foster home for a couple weeks. My foster mom noted that I prefer dry and canned kitten food to adult food, so that's what I ate, and now I am doing great. I also like playing with wand toys. Victoria and my kittens have all been adopted, so I'm hoping my turn will be coming soon. I don't need to be a hoity-toity socialite like the soap opera character Nikki Newman. I'm just a regular kitty girl who's looking for a loving home where I'll be loved and cared for. Come in and say "Hey" to Nikki!
