Oh, the weather outside was frightful...Yes, I was found just before Christmas in Blooming Prairie with my three older kittens and came to Paws and Claws. The woman who found us liked all of us and would have kept all four of us, but she already had four rescue cats of her own. I drew the short straw, but at least my kittens have a home. I came to the shelter. I'm a lovely black mama cat called Connie. I did not seem to like children while in my finder's home; I am skittish around strangers, and I am still shy. It takes me a while to build trust with someone, but given time, I can adapt and grow! I am open to petting from my favorite volunteers and staff members. I would like a quiet home where I have a space to relax and adjust at my own pace. If you are patient and have an unhurried, calm personality, I may settle in and become your sweet, mellow Connie kitty.
