St. Valentine was a 3rd Century Italian priest who was martyred for failing to obey a decree that made it illegal for young couples to marry. Rather than repent and disavow his faith, Valentine was executed. I am "Valentino," a good-looking orange tabby young adult male who was brought to Paws and Claws on Valentine's Day after I was found as a stray in NW Rochester. My name means, "strong, powerful, or valiant." St. Valentine was valiant, but I am not, at least not yet. I am shy and unsure about people.
