There's a song that says "ya' got to have friends..."("Friends" by Bette Midler), and my name, Darwin, means "dear friend." I was awfully nervous when I arrived, so you might want to give me time and space. I'm an orange tabby and white male older kitten who was found in the Diamond Ridge neighborhood in Rochester. I arrived here on February 12. I do like being petted if I am approached slowly. I also play a little. I'll progress at my own rate as I become more comfortable. In time, I will learn that life is better with friends. Then I will be ready to be your dear friend, your Darwin.
