"Honor the hands that harvest your crops." - Dolores Huerta. Tessa, which means "to gather," is sometimes short for Theresa, which means "harvester." I guess you could say that my 17 kitty friends and I were "harvested," so we are thankful to those kind souls. I'm a white and black female named Tessa. My friends and I were abandoned in two carriers in the parking lot of a boat store. A rescue group brought us to Paws and Claws, where we are safe. You can't imagine the stress we felt, so it's a relief to be out of the cold and to feel the comforting touch of human hands. I'm more open to receiving attention and petting than some of the others, but I think that the others will relax and be open affection, too, once they get settled. I like affection, and I play some too. Can I tempt you into calling me your darling Tessa?
