A crate made for nine cats? Hardly! I'm Taylor, a black and white female cat who was one of 18 cats who were abandoned in two carriers/crates in the parking lot of a boat store. We were transported to Paws and Claws by a rescue group, and now we are glad to be safe and warm and are being fed and cared for by nice people. It may take me and some of the others some time to get over that nerve-wracking experience and trust people, however. I do allow petting if I am approached slowly, and I appreciate it when people speak softly to me. I may play a little too. I have it in me to be a lovely, affectionate cat, so if given time, I will make tentative steps to show you the real Taylor. As Taylor Swift said, "Just be yourself. There is no one better." With the help of the many kind people who work and volunteer here, and maybe nice visitors like you, I will become my best self. I want to be someone's lovable Taylor girl.
