Hay! Cat pun. I'm Timothy - no, not the grass that's used for hay. I'm a black and white male cat. So, hey! I'm really sort of a timid guy. Yup. I'm one of 18 cats who came to Paws and Claws from another rescue after we were found abandoned in the parking lot of a boat store. We were left there in two carriers/containers. We're very relieved to be out of there and safe from the cold. But gee, some of us, including me, are still shaking, not from cold but because we're not comfortable in this new place yet. With a little time and patience, I'll get there, and so will the others. I do okay with petting if I'm approached slowly, and I might do a bit of playing here and there. Take your time when you stop by. Maybe just sit with me. Talk quietly. I'll listen to your voice. Reach out slowly, tentatively, with a gentle touch. Say my name, "Timothy." I'll see you soon.
