If you follow the PCHS Facebook page, you may have seen my story. I lost my person months ago, and I was passed from one relative to another. I had no one to care for me. Three family members tried to drop me off at the back door of the shelter one night, but the cleaners heard them and had them bring me in so they could hear my story. I was adopted in January, but I was returned only a few months later because of "behavior issues." Why do I act out? I can't express in words what I'm feeling, so I do what many cats do when they feel sad, lonely, in pain, or emotionally upset. I tolerate petting but only for a brief time, and then I may lash out. I play a little bit, but again, caution is required. For that reason, I should be in a home with adults and older children who can read my signals. I'm barely older than 2 years old, and I want to be happy! What do you do when you need something to cheer you up? Do you have a hobby? I have a hobby! I love to sit in a window and watch birds! A day without birdwatching is like...just kidding! I have no idea! If you have a window with a view of a bird feeder and a cushy window seat where I can lounge and watch birds, I'll be so happy! It takes time to build a relationship with any living being, especially with one who's grieving losses. If you are patient, kind, and loving and are willing to be my family for the long haul, I would love to be your bird-watching kitty girl. In time, with your love and support, I hope I'll grow more relaxed, and I'll find my way to being the sweet, loving cat I was meant to be. Will you give Molly a chance at love?
