The flower of the heather plant is purple, lavender, pink or white. Heather flowers commonly symbolize good luck, admiration, and protection. They're also a symbol of resilience and endurance, which is appropriate for my situation. I'm a solid grey adult female called Heather. I am one of six cats who came to Paws and Claws from another rescue group, where we had been taken after being removed from a hoarding situation. It's not uncommon for cats who come from such homes to be fearful of people. I was nervous when I arrived and have felt safest staying in the back of my kennel. I do like to be petted, so please feel free to spend quiet time with me. With time and patience, love and care, and perhaps some luck, I will grow to be a friendly, social, loving girl who will become someone's special Heather.
