Chatri. In Thai, my name means "brave knight." In other cultures, it means "umbrella," which also offers protection. I am a very handsome, 2 1/2-year-old Siamese mix male who came to Paws and Claws because my person lost the house she was renting and no longer has a place where she can keep me. I liked the 5- and 7-year-old children I was around, and sometimes I slept with my person. I was friendly around people I knew, but when I arrived at the shelter, I was quite nervous and tried to dash out of my kennel. I did settle down but hid behind my litter box. I do allow petting though. This is a big change for me, and it will take time and patience for me to adjust. I can be brave! I will be brave! I am Chatri!
