Rocco! A lot of folks might associate the name with sports figures like baseball's Rocco Baldelli or Rocco "Rocky" Colavito, or boxer Rocco "Rocky" Marchegiano, better known as Rocky Marciano. Then there are the movies...but never mind. I'm a cat! I'm an adult black male with just a hint of white on my chest. I was found on West Circle Village SE in Rochester and came to the shelter on October 1. Don't forget that October is Black Cat Awareness Month! Never mind the nervous, growly stuff, or that I don't appreciate being around other cats at first. That's the norm around here, isn't it? I'll adapt. I don't give "paw-tographs", but I'll be happy to accept pets in exchange for purrs. I do not like being picked up, at least not yet. I may prove to be cat-thletic, and some might think I'm handsome enough to be a movie star. I'll just be thrilled to be loved as someone's special Rocco boy.
