Say hello to Sweetie! I'm a lovely 3-year-old, medium-haired calico girl who was pregnant when I was found at a campground in Dexter near the end of August. I was taken to a foster home, which is where my seven "reindeer" kittens were born in September. They have all been adopted. I was adopted, too, but that turned out to be temporary. It just wasn't the right fit for me, so I am back at the shelter, hoping to find a purr-manent home. I really am a sweet girl who loves being petted - but not too much! I can become overstimulated. When enough is enough, I may nip, so I need a cat-savvy adopter who can read my signals and tell when I am becoming anxious and overstimulated. I may do best in a home with older children or adults only. I love being brushed, but again, brushing sessions need to be kept short so that they are enjoyable for me, not overstimulating. If you know and understand me, and you love me as I am, I know I'll live up to my name, and I'll be your Sweetie for a long, long time.
