Introducing Aspen!
This sweet lady came to us when she needed a safe spot to be. She has some trauma in her past and she is working hard everyday to overcome that. She has been learning that the staff here are her friends and that hotdogs make perfect high value treats to win her trust. She warms up to women a little faster then men, but with patience and snacks she warms up to them too!
She loves to go for walks and being outside! In her past home she had done well with dogs but she has not been formally tested with dogs here. She has lived with some kids and has done well with them! Her ideal home would be a family that will be patient with her as she opens up and learns the routines of her new home. Once she feels comfortable she turns into a big love bug and social butterfly!
