Are you looking for a pretty new kitty cat to love? I'm Dove, a sweet, solid grey mama in need of a home. My kittens, whose names are Sparrow and Chickadee, were brought to the shelter with me in mid-May because our family was too busy with their jobs to properly care for the three of us. They said that we like children, and we like playing with toys. We went to a foster home for several weeks; there we got lots of attention in a quiet environment. I am shy when I first meet someone new, but I'm friendly and lovey-dovey when I get to know someone. I enjoy being petted. I especially love having my cheeks rubbed and receiving full-body strokes. I purr-fur bearing weight with all four paws on a surface rather than being held. I don't know how to coo like a bird, but I have a wonderful purr. I like wrestling with my kittens and chasing foil balls, and I might do well in a home with another young cat or kitten. I'll purr with delight to show my appreciation when I get settled in my cozy nest as your lovable Dove.
