My sister Bryn is my friend; she's also like a mother. I'm Morgan, a very shy, petite brown tabby and white young adult girl. When the shelter we'd been staying in was closing in April, Paws and Claws took us in. We're still here. We both were very nervous and overwhelmed by the constant flow of visitors here. I am especially wary of people I don't know, and I was hiding a lot. I hid from staff, volunteers, and people who came to adopt kitties, so many kitties. After we moved to a new area, I slowly started coming out of my shell. I'm happier now. There are some volunteers who talk to me softly, and I am more trusting. I startle easily, but mostly, I am out and about, observing attentively. Because I become stressed by too much activity and noise, I would do best in a home with adults only. Bryn is very protective of me and comforts me when I am afraid. I like exploring, looking out the window, and I will approach people when I'm offered Churus! I need an adopter with loads of patience and a gentle manner. You must be willing to give me as much time as I need to let me be me. Allow me to become the Morgan I can be! Bryn and I are a bonded pair, and we must be adopted together. Building a relationship with each of us will take time, but good things come to those who wait! Purr.
