You can tune a piano, but you can't tuna fish! I'm a young, adult black female with a spot of white on my chest. I'm called Tuna now; my original name was Kit Kat. The first time I was in the shelter, I was 4 months old and was surrendered by an elderly couple who had four adult cats, so having kittens proved too much for them. I was adopted in December 2023, but now I've been returned because of stress marking. I prefer having two tall litter boxes to choose from. My people tried to lower the noise and excitement in my home, but they feel that I need a more consistent environment or a cat friend to help me become more confident. When I was here before, I was in a communal room with cats and kittens. I have sisters out there somewhere, and I loved snuggling with them, so I would love a kitty companion! I love people, and I will run right up to sniff you as I greet you. I was not around other cats or dogs in my home, but I have been around chickens and rabbits! My favorite plaything is my toy rat, and I also love the laser light and solving puzzles. I've been very good around plants. I stay off counters and avoid places where I shouldn't be. I loved my cat tree by the window where I sat for hours watching birds. I wore a harness outdoors on a zip line too! My name might be Tuna, but I'm still as sweet as a Kit Kat! I hope you'll zip over to the shelter to see if we're a purrfect match so I can go home to be your Tuna Kat.
