"Rise above the fall!" That's one of the slogans of the Jenga game! I'm an older fella called Jenga, and my life has been a bit like a game of Jenga. I started out on a farm property with 2 other cats. When the property was sold in 2021, the new owners couldn't keep me and the other 2 cats, so we came to Paws and Claws. I went to a new home when I was nearly 13 years old. 13 was not a lucky number for me. That experience did not go as well as expected, for me and for many other animals. Luckily, we are out of that situation and are here at Paws and Claws, hoping to find our real forever homes. I may not be a spring chicken, but I am still lively for a 16½ -year-old guy! I enjoy fishing! Okay sure - I bat at a toy fish at the end of a string! And I did my utmost best to catch the laser light. Tell me, has anyone ever caught that bugger? I enjoy being pampered with a good petting and brushing session too. I love attention so much that I will stay near any people who are in my room. I also like watching birds at the birdfeeders. I tend to be a bit wobbly while walking on hard floors, so I might do best in a home with carpet for better traction. Also, staff have been heating "snuggle discs" for me several times a day to keep me warm and cozy in my kennel. My joints thank you!
