3 years ago, our sweet Maxine left the shelter for what we thought would be her happily ever after. It was not. Maxine returned to the shelter after being abandoned and left with a large gash in her head. She is recovering very nicely here at the shelter with people who love her. Even after the horrible treatment she received, she is still the sweetest girl. Now that she is relaxing, she is starting to come out of her shell. Maxine can play a little rough so older kid for her. She is housebroken as long as you keep her on schedule and if you're going out for a prolonged time she will use puppy pads. Maxine will run jump and play all day but loves to curl up and be a couch potato as well! I forgot to mention she gives the sweetest kisses. If your looking for a loving companion come meet this little girl today!
