PLEASE READ ALL GOOD INFO ON HER=LONG READ BUT ALL-IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
My name is Sabrina and I'm really sad. My current foster mom can't foster me anymore so I'm really hoping that someone nice will foster or adopt me. Please help me find my new foster/permanent home by sharing my story.
Things to know about me:
I'm very friendly once I get to know you. Pet me and I'll love you quickly (especially under her chin).
I'm a sweet cat about 5 years old
I've met a few calm dogs and if they didn't bother me, I won't bother them.
I pick and choose the cats/kittens I like, and I boss around the ones I don't.
Boy cats are my favorite and kittens too. If you're bossy too or you ignore me that works too.
I love spa day, when I get my nails done and my fur brushed.
I've had cat friends that were teenage kittens.
I loved running around the house and playing with them, but they all got adopted.
I love to be a lap cat, chase lure toys, climb cat trees and play soccer with all kinds of toys. I'm very amusing.
In my current foster home, at night, I stay in a bedroom by myself or with other cats/kittens that are in crates, so I can only eat my special food and no one else's. I'd rather be out and about with you then tucked away in bedroom. It depresses me to spend too much time alone and I over-groom.
When the other cats are in their rooms, I get the rest of the house to play and watch tv with my foster mom and dad. That's about 9 hours a day.
I've got something called "megacolon" so I'm on a diet with medicines (that don't cost a lot) and are mixed in my food, so it's no problem making sure I eat them.
Foster mom says my food, medications, and weight will always have to be managed.
I'm not allowed to eat other cats/dogs food, just my own.
I eat 3 times a day, around 7am, 2 pm and 8 pm. I've got an automatic feeder so you can use it for the 2 pm.
1/2 can wet food
1/4 tsp Miralax
1/4 tsp of psyllium husk
.3 mil of lactulose (prescription)
1 crushed pill of Cisapride (prescription)
You can substitute the canned food with a 1/4 cup of Hills WD dry (prescription)
Everything gets mixed into the bowl with enough water to make it chili like, but not too soupy
It's important to be aware of when I don't poop as constipation can be a problem and an enema might be needed.
I get enemas maybe 2 or 3 times a year, less in frequency now that my medications have been figured out. I take them like a lady, so it's not a big deal.
If you have any questions or would like to meet me that would be great!
