Do you own a barn, stable, or just have a lot of land? Looking for someone to help you keep it looking tidy and pest free? Then meet Lorna, one of our working cats! Lorna is what we call a "working cats" because they do just that, work! Working cats have more of a rough and tumble personality and prefer to be outdoors doing their job than indoors getting pets. They prefer the company of other animals to humans and like to approach people at their own pace. Although they do not enjoy being cuddled by their humans, they love to help them out by helping catch any pests. Lorna is looking for a home/owner who can utilize his special skills. Sound like the cat for you? Stop by and employ/adopt Lorna, today!
All pets are currently located at our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Come in during our open hours! We are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information on our adoption process, including requirements and fees, visit: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/animalservices/adopt
