Meet Elmo!
He is a gentle, 45-lb brown pup with a sensitive, thoughtful nature who warms up beautifully with patience and kindness. He enjoys going for walks and while he can be shy at first, he soon becomes affectionate-often resting his head in trusted laps. Elmo is wonderfully tolerant with handling and he prefers a calm, quiet space during mealtimes. He is polite with other dogs, starting off a bit cautious but relaxing into soft tail wags and friendly sniffing. Elmo is looking for a peaceful home where he can continue to grow in confidence and share his sweet, loyal heart.
This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It's a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!

Frey Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
