Fat Daddy is a cool tabby cat seeking a loving home suited to his medical and behavioral needs! Fat Daddy is legally blind, and his lack of vision means he needs time to get used to new spaces and learn where his food and litterbox are. With time and patience, he functions well with his disability in the home. Fat Daddy is a sweet kitty who appreciates gentle affection, but at the same time he can get easily overstimulated. To avoid any nips or overstimulation due to his blindness and high-arousal behavior, Fat Daddy must go to a home with children ages 13+ who can respect his boundaries and pay attention to his body language. He has a history of a sensitive stomach and some dental issues. Fat Daddy's adopters should be diligent with regular vet care, including foods he is familiar with and possible future dental cleanings so this kitty can live his best life! Fat Daddy is one popular dude around the shelter because he is just SO sweet. Here's what one of our volunteers says about him: 'What a lovebug! I had an exceptionally nice time with Fat Daddy today. I know many of the other volunteers have had similar experiences, but I just wanted to make this special note just for him because I have so many photos. Fat Daddy is such a lap cat and he is a total love bug. He cuddles so much, he laid in my lap for such a long time, got into my lap all on his own, held my hand with his paws on his own, and he just makes the SWEETEST biscuits ever. What a sweetheart!' Sound like the daddy for you? Come meet and adopt Fat Daddy, today!
Bonus with this guy is that he just had a dental cleaning in March '26, courtesy of our nonprofit fundraising partner Friends of FCAS. His pearly whites are now in good shape, hooray!
