Duke Snowshoe is a gentle, sensitive soul who's learning that the world isn't so scary after all. After a slow start, he has blossomed into a sweet, curious pup who walks politely on leash and enjoys checking in with the people he trusts most. Duke thrives on calm routines, predictable interactions, and the comfort of familiar faces. He can be protective of his food and prefers a quiet space during meals, but he's otherwise a soft-hearted boy who just needs patience and understanding. During his dog intro, Duke showed polite curiosity and maintained a loose, friendly demeanor. He would do best in a home with older children (8+) and adopters who are willing to move at his pace when it comes to handling, grooming, and vet care. If you're looking for a thoughtful, loyal companion with a heart as warm as his smile, Duke might be the perfect match.
