Calli is a sweet and soft-natured pup who's shown us nothing but love and patience since arriving. Calli enjoys affection and doesn't mind being touched, even in sensitive areas like her face and feet - a real testament to her trusting spirit. Calli also perks up for playtime with toys like tennis balls and squeaky toys, though she prefers short bursts of fun followed by some calm relaxation. The shelter environment has been stressful for Calli, and she'd likely do much better in a peaceful, low-key home. She met another dog here and showed polite curiosity but was a bit overwhelmed during close interaction. That said, she previously lived with another dog and got along well, so she may enjoy a calm canine companion. Calli would be happiest in a home without young children, where she can decompress and build trust at her own pace. She arrived at the shelter with another dog named Erin (A0058738721). While they aren't a bonded pair, they do have a wonderful connection, and we'd love for them to be adopted together if possible.
