Cowabunga is heartworm positive, which means he'll need a loving adopter willing to help him through treatment, a manageable process that includes rest, meds, and vet care. With proper treatment, dogs like Cowabunga can go on to live happy, healthy lives. Heartworm is serious, but treatable and he's worth it.
