When Postmates was found in the woods, he walked right up to the Animal Protection Officer, his big, squishy face, tongue hanging out, and eyes radiating curiosity and trust. "Friendly and docile," the officer said, and that's exactly who Postmates is: a big-hearted, big-bodied optimist who just wants to be your best friend.

Around the 90-pound mark, Postmates is an unmistakable presence. He's built like a tank, but his personality is as soft as his velvety little triangle ears. "He's strong, but he's got such a sweet personality," one volunteer shared. "Big and squishy and just a joy to be around."
He's one of those rare dogs who willingly jumps into the tub, clearly hates every second of bathtime, but sits patiently while you lather and rinse. He celebrates when you towel him off-the tail wags come back-you are forgiven. But truly, Postmates doesn't know how to get mad, so there is nothing to forgive.

He's happiest chasing tennis balls with all the enthusiasm of a puppy, his muscular frame bounding across the yard. But he's not just about action-he's thoughtful, too. When he drops the ball at your feet, he tilts his head, watching to see if you're ready to throw it again. It's as if he's asking, "Umm, I don't mean to be a bother, but can you do that thirty-two more times?"

Despite his size and strength, Postmates is surprisingly gentle. He takes treats with care, his big mouth barely brushing your fingers. Volunteers often comment on how sweet he is, though he can get bouncy when he's excited and his leash manners need work. "Once he gets his energy out, he's so much easier to walk," one volunteer noted. "He's just a big, happy boy." Ugh, we love him.

With some basic training and the walking equipment, Postie is going to be a wonderful companion to both humans and dogs alike. He's got the goofiest, most lovable personality ever. If you're searching for a loyal, playful, and endlessly lovable companion, come meet him today and let him show you how much joy a big, squishy face can bring into your life.
