Meet Pogo, a sweet and friendly pup who is looking for a special foster or foster-to-adopt home while we work toward getting him the medical care he needs.
Pogo currently has a dislocated leg that is causing him pain. We are in the process of getting a surgical estimate and fundraising for his surgery, and in the meantime, we would love to find him a comfortable home where he can receive the care and attention he deserves.
Despite his injury, Pogo is still a happy pup who loves toys, affection, and spending time outside. He has plenty of puppy energy and is still learning all of his basic manners, so his foster should be prepared to help him learn as he grows. He has also done well meeting both cats and dogs here at the shelter.
Pogo's foster home will need to be equipped to safely care for his injury and understand that he is currently experiencing pain. His activity and care will need to be managed appropriately while we work toward his surgery.
If you have room in your home and heart for a sweet puppy who needs a little extra help right now, Pogo would love to meet you!
