Like his namesake, Helios is just waiting for the right person to help him shine. He may be a little shy when you first meet him, but he comes out of his shell quickly once you bring out a ball. Helios is very food motivated and absolutely loves to play fetch, making a good game of toss the perfect way to brighten his day.
He's a little independent, but he does enjoy getting pets and spending time with his people. He knows "sit" and is a polite ball player who will even drop his ball for you when he's ready for another round.
Helios would do best with an adopter who is willing to continue his socialization and help him build confidence at his own pace. With patience, positive experiences, and plenty of playtime, this handsome boy is sure to step into the sunshine and show you his brightest side.
