Earl is a gentle, quiet soul who is patiently waiting for the perfect person to discover his quiet charm. He had a bit of a rough start and came to the shelter feeling very scared and shy, completely overwhelmed by all the sudden changes. He was moved into a community room to see how he does with other cats and has done well. While he does not play with them, he does cuddle with the other cats, finding comfort and security in their presence as he navigates his surroundings. Though he is still a little shy with new people, Earl has a deeply sweet side that shines through once he knows he is safe. He might not be the first cat to run to the door, but he does enjoy receiving gentle chin scratches from his favorite human friends, leaning into your hand with quiet appreciation. When he isn't socializing with his feline roommates, his favorite pastime is finding a sunny perch by the window to watch the birds flutter by outside. He is looking for a patient, peaceful home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace.
