Meet Mattie, a 4-year-old Pit Bull mix with a gentle, easygoing soul. This sweet boy can be a little nervous at first, but he has so much to offer once he feels comfortable. Mattie is an independent guy who enjoys having time to explore the outdoors, play with his toys, and take in all the world has to offer. He knows "sit" and "paw", and he walks nicely on a leash, making him a lovely companion for everyday adventures. Mattie is open to meeting other dogs and kids ages 12 and up. He would love a patient, understanding home where he can settle in at his own pace and show off his sweet personality. If you're looking for a gentle companion who enjoys both outdoor exploring and doing his own thing, Mattie might just be the dog for you!

If you are interested in adopting, please visit Women's Animal Center to fill out an application in person. We cannot accept any applications online or through email, and we cannot hold any specific animal for a potential adopter.
You do not need an appointment to walk through our shelter, so please stop by any time during our adoption hours.
You must follow the guidelines for our adoption process listed on our website (https://womensanimalcenter.org/our-animal-shelter/adoption-process-fees) to be able to meet and adopt one of our animals.
