Meet Trofie, a beautiful orange and white tabby girl who has a story to tell and a heart that's slowly learning to trust again. At two years old, Trofie came to us in difficult circumstances-abandoned alongside what is likely her daughter. This experience has understandably made her cautious and wary, but beneath that guardedness is a sweet soul who is just beginning to come out of her shell.
Trofie is shy and will take time to warm up to you. She's not quite ready to be freely petted just yet, and she needs someone who understands that her caution comes from fear, not lack of affection. But here's the beautiful part: she's already making progress. Every day, Trofie shows signs of growing confidence and trust. With patience, consistency, and gentle kindness, this reserved girl is discovering that not everyone will hurt her.
For someone willing to give her the time and patience she deserves-someone who understands that trust must be earned and that her shyness is temporary-this sweet girl will slowly reveal her true loving nature. Trofie is worth the wait, and she's ready to build a forever bond with someone who believes in her potential.
Keeping Trofie and her daughter together would be deeply beneficial for both cats. They provide each other with comfort and security as they heal from their past.
Trofie is fixed, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped. She is about 2 years old.
Trofie is currently in the care of our rescue but would like to become a part of your family today. The adoption fee of $125 EACH will benefit other CPR rescue animals.
