Teddy is a perfectly sized companion with curious, sparkling dark eyes that are taking in the big world around him. He's new to Keller and still a timid fellow, but now that he's safe, you can see the beginnings of a sweet personality starting to peek through. Teddy is sure to thrive with a patient family who lets him settle at his own pace and reveal his charming side as he relaxes, knowing he's home at last.
Volunteer Perspectives:
Teddy is a sweet and shy little guy. He does not mind putting on a leash if you move slowly. He walks nicely, but can be startled by loud noises. I'm confident we can win him over with patience, a quiet space, and some cheese cubes!

Teddy is so stinkin' cute he almost went home with me in my purse!

After several weeks in our care, little Teddy is still quite timid out in the big world. He walks nicely on a leash and is working hard to be brave. When you first meet Teddy, he may be reserved. Even though he seems to long for comfort and affection, he doesn't give his heart so easily. Teddy's new family will need to take a leap of faith and move at his pace, knowing their patience will be rewarded with the quiet joy of watching a worried little dog learn to feel safe and at home.
