Rocco is a handsome 1-year-old German Shepherd mix with a playful spirit and a whole lot of personality. He's a fun-loving, active guy who enjoys romping around with other dogs-his play style is a mix of push-and-pull and rough-and-rowdy, making him a great match for confident canine buddies. He especially loves the pool and would be thrilled to have a home where he can splash and play.
Rocco is a smart, well-mannered dog who builds strong bonds with his people, but he can be cautious with strangers and prefers slow, respectful introductions. He's shown some resource guarding around food in the past, so he'll benefit from a home that understands how to manage and continue working on this behavior with positive reinforcement.
He does best when given space and clear communication-he's not a fan of being restrained or having people reach underneath him, but he responds well when handled thoughtfully and with patience. And if you've got meatballs, you'll definitely win him over!
Rocco would thrive in an experienced home that can provide structure, consistency, and continued guidance as he grows. With the right person or family, he's a loyal, playful, and deeply rewarding companion just waiting to shine.
