Rachel may be the smallest of her litter but she packs a powerful personality in her little body! The most independent of her littermates, she often watches their crazy behavior from the side or even naps right through it. But, when she chooses to engage, she doesn't hesitate to jump into the mix and will readily take on her rowdier and larger brothers. Rachel is a quiet kitty and was originally shy around people, but during the past month has really blossomed into an affectionate girl who seeks physical human attention. Rachel is a beauty, with short and sleek black fur with a pop of white on her toes and neck.
Rachel came to the SPCA with her 5 siblings and mom while still nursing. She spent 5 weeks in foster care and acclimated very well to all of the sights and sounds of a busy household. During her last two weeks in foster care, she was allowed to interact with the large resident dog through a pet gate. Rachel had no hesitation upon meeting the dog for the first time and has enjoyed engaging with her through the gate ever since. As a result, she would likely do quite well in a home with a gentle, cat-friendly dog that will tolerate kitten antics.
Like all kittens, Rachel is very playful and would love to go home with one of her siblings: Louis, Harvey, Mike, Donna, or Gretchen. Her mom, Jessica, has already been adopted!
