I love cuddling, playing, and spending time with my people, but I also appreciate having some time to myself when I need a break. I'm a high-energy guy who enjoys walks, running, fetch, and playing with my toys. I'm getting much better at walking nicely on a leash, although squirrels, rabbits, and other dogs can still get me excited! My foster family has discovered that I'm quite the chaser when it comes to squirrels and rabbits, so I'd probably do best in a home without cats or other small animals. After I've had a chance to burn off some energy, I'm more than happy to curl up and take a good nap.
I'm a pretty quiet boy, especially when I'm relaxing at home. I'm house and crate trained, and my crate is my safe space. I'm happy to go inside and even happier to see you when you let me out!
I'm a big fan of treats and food. I can sometimes be protective of my food bowl while eating, so I'll need space to enjoy my meals without interruption. I'm happy to take treats and food gently from your hand.
I'm still learning and sometimes forget just how big and strong I am! I can get excited and goofy, but I'm learning every day. I'm looking for someone who will give me a little time to build trust, be patient with me, continue helping me learn, and appreciate my big personality and even bigger heart. My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
