Hi, I'm Bonnie, a 10-month-old, 25-pound Pocket Pittie with a big heart packed into a little body!

When we first meet, I might be a little shy, but once I know I'm safe and you're my people, my true personality comes out. I'm a total cuddlebug who loves being close to the people I trust. I'm also hoping my forever home has a dog sibling because having another pup to play with, follow around, and wrestle with would make me very happy. I'm wonderfully submissive when I play, and I'm great about sharing my toys and food with my canine friends.

I love my crate and am comfortable settling in for some downtime. I'm also learning my house manners, and while I'm not quite there yet, I'm making progress. I know "sit," too!

I'll be honest about one thing: I'm not a fan of leash walks. I'm much more of a homebody and absolutely love being with my people. When a leash goes on, I tend to decide I've explored enough and make a beeline right back to the front door! With patience and encouragement, I'll need someone willing to help me build confidence and discover that the world outside can be pretty wonderful, too.

Give me a yard, some toys, a doggy playmate, and someone who loves cuddles, and I'll be in heaven. I especially love swimming and playing in the water, so a family that enjoys water adventures would be an extra-special match for me.

I am not a good match for a home with cats, so my forever family will need to be cat-free. I'm an amazing little pup with so much love to give, and I'm looking for the family who will make me part of their lives forever. If you're looking for a petite, affectionate Pittie with a playful side and a whole lot of love, I may be your girl!

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 24 hours after my procedure is completed.

If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
