Hi! My name is Shermy, but my foster family has given me a very fitting nickname: Clingy. And honestly, I can't argue with them!
I'm a momma's boy through and through. If you ever find yourself wondering where I am, the answer is probably pretty simple: just find my mom and you'll find me! Following her around is one of my favorite activities, and I always seem to have a need to be right next to someone. I'm happiest when I have a warm body nearby, whether that's my mom, one of my siblings, or my favorite person.
I absolutely love being held and snuggled, and I'm not shy about letting you know that I enjoy being pampered. In fact, if you're looking for a kitten who wants to be your little shadow and stay close by, I might be exactly who you've been looking for.
Of course, I'm still a kitten, so I have plenty of playful energy, too! My favorite playmate is my twin brother, and when the two of us get together, we don't even need toys. Wrestling is our favorite game! We can chase, tumble, wrestle, take a break, and then start all over again.
I'm also wonderful with other cats and currently live with my siblings Charlie Brown, Peppermint Patty, Schroeder, Woodstock, and Snoopy. I'm good with dogs, too, and I'm happy around children of all ages. I'm not a shredder, escape artist, runner, or car chaser, so my foster family says I'm pretty easygoing in that department.
I do have a little separation anxiety because I really, really like being with my people - or my mom! My foster family has found that the best thing for me is simply allowing me to stay close to her rather than separating us. After all, when you're a devoted little mama's boy like me, why would you want to be anywhere else?
I've spent the last four weeks growing up in foster care, and I'm ready to find a forever family who will appreciate just how affectionate and loving I am. I'll happily follow you around, curl up in your arms, and keep you company as long as you'll let me.

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
