Hi! My name is Peppermint Patty, and I'm a two-year-old girl with a big heart, a playful personality, and a serious appreciation for attention!

I absolutely love being held, and one of my favorite ways to show you that I love you is by gently nudging your face with mine. If you're looking for a cat who wants to be close to her person, I might be your girl. Honestly, if I could have someone with me all the time, I would be perfectly happy!

I'm also a playful girl. I love chasing my cat toys, having fun, and then settling in for some quality cuddle time. And when it's time for a snack, I have excellent taste. My favorite wet food is Friskies Glaz'd Infuz'd, just in case you were wondering how to win me over!

I recently became a mom to a bunch of kittens, and while I love my babies, I'll admit they can drive me a little crazy sometimes. The good news is that my kitten-making days are officially behind me, so I won't be having any more little ones. I've done my job as a momma, and now I'm ready for someone to spoil me!

Speaking of my babies, I have to tell you about my relationships with them. I can't exactly admit that I have favorites, because a momma shouldn't play favorites, but I can tell you that Shermy and Schroeder are best friends with each other, while my sweet little Derpy Woodstock and I have a special bond. I would love to spend lots of time with him if the opportunity ever arose.

I'm wonderful with other cats and currently do well around feline friends. I'm also good with dogs and children of all ages. I'm litter box trained, too, so I have all the important grown-up cat skills down.

I will admit that I can get a little sad when I'm left alone. I'm very attached to my people, and I may howl when you leave me by myself. Luckily, having my babies around has helped me feel better when my foster family isn't home. I would do best with plenty of companionship and a family who understands that I really, really like being loved.

There is one other thing you should know about me: I enjoy scratching and clawing at cloth furniture with armrests. Apparently, I have very strong opinions about interior decorating! Providing me with appropriate scratching posts and surfaces will help keep me from redecorating your furniture.

I've spent the last three weeks in foster care, and now it's time for my next chapter. I'm ready to leave motherhood behind and become someone's cherished companion. I want a home where I can play, cuddle, be held, nudge my favorite person's face, and soak up all the attention my heart desires.

I'm Peppermint Patty, and I'm ready to be your loving, playful, slightly clingy, completely adorable forever girl!

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed.

If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.
