Hi! My name is Bowie, and I'm a sweet, playful boy who may take a little time to show you just how wonderful I am. I can be a bit shy when I'm first getting to know someone or when something new comes along, so I appreciate a little patience while I figure things out. Once I feel comfortable and safe with you, though, you'll discover that I have a wonderful affectionate side. I absolutely love one-on-one time with my favorite person, and when I'm relaxed in your arms, my big purr will tell you exactly how happy I am.
I'm also a playful little guy! I love wand toys and balls, and when I really get going, I can bounce all over the place. There's a lot more energy and personality hiding behind my reserved first impression!
I think I'm going to make an excellent lap cat. Give me the time I need to get to know you, and I'll reward your patience with cuddles, purrs, and plenty of sweet companionship. I just need someone who understands that friendships are worth taking a little time to build.
I'm good with cats and dogs, including large-breed dogs, and I currently live with my friends Brent and Bree. We've been together in foster care for five weeks, so I'm very comfortable having other kitties around me.
I'm litter box trained and ready to find a forever home where I can continue becoming the confident, affectionate boy I know I can be. If you're willing to let me take things at my own pace, I think you'll discover a wonderful lap cat waiting to emerge.

If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
