Hi, I'm Pinto, and if you're looking for a best friend who's equal parts adventure buddy, playmate, and professional cuddler, I think we should meet!
I'm a happy, energetic young guy who loves making new friends. Whether you're a familiar face or someone I've just met, I'm always excited to say hello. I've been living with another dog and have done wonderfully-I love chasing tennis balls, playing tug-of-war, and romping around the yard with my canine buddies. I think having a dog sibling would be lots of fun, but I'd also be perfectly happy soaking up all of your attention as your one and only.
One of my favorite parts of the day is our morning walk along the riverwalk. I walk nicely on a leash, love exploring, and I'll even dip my toes in the water! I can be a little goofy splashing around, but I'm always ready to follow my furry friends on the next adventure. Once I've burned off some energy, I'm more than happy to curl up for a nap-my favorite spot is right in your lap if you'll let me.
I'm already housetrained and have settled nicely into my foster home's routine. I don't need a crate, and I don't have separation anxiety. I know "sit," I'll happily offer you my paw for a treat, and I even know to hop off the couch when snack time rolls around (although I'll still be hoping you decide to share!).
Like most dogs, I think toys are more fun once I've removed the stuffing, so sturdy toys are definitely the way to my heart!
I haven't met any children or cats yet, so my foster family isn't sure how I'd do with them. What they do know is that I'm loving, affectionate, playful, and always ready for whatever the day brings.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who will join you on walks, make you laugh with my goofy personality, play until we're both tired, and then snuggle up beside you, I just might be the perfect match.
