Hi, I'm Forest! I'm a handsome brown tabby boy with lots of beautiful white, and I'm looking for someone who will give me a little time to show them just how special I am.

I can be pretty shy when we first meet, and I may be a little unsure when you pick me up. But once I've had time to warm up and realize you're a friend, my sweet personality really starts to shine. I'm still learning that human touch is a wonderful thing, but I especially love having my head and behind my ears scratched. Give me patience, kindness, and a little time, and I'll reward you with plenty of love.

One thing I know for sure is that I absolutely adore other cats! I get along superbly with my sister, Amber, and I also love cuddling with my older foster brother, Nathan. Having another cat around helps me feel safe and confident, so I would love a forever home with a friendly feline companion.

I'm a playful little guy, too. When I'm having fun, I make the cutest little chirping sound while I bounce around on my toys or chase after my foster siblings. I love Cat TV and anything involving birds, and an open window with fresh air is one of my favorite places to perch and watch the world go by. At night, bring out the laser toys and my little rolling ball, and I'm ready for some serious playtime.

I'm litter box trained and doing great with my pine pellet litter. Every now and then, I might kick a few pellets around the room just for fun, but hey, a guy has to keep things interesting!

I've done well with small dogs, although big, energetic dogs can make me a little nervous. I may warm up to them with time, but I'd be happiest with a calm environment where I can continue building my confidence. I'm also good with older children and have no problem entertaining myself when my people are away.

I may need a patient family who understands that I'm not going to rush into a friendship, but I promise I'm worth the wait. Give me the chance to feel safe, let me come out of my shell at my own pace, and you'll discover a loving, playful boy who will keep you smiling and help you make some pretty wonderful memories.

I'm Forest, and I'm ready to find the people who will give me the chance to show them what a special boy I really am.

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed.

If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
