Well hello there, dear! I'm Aunt Ida, a petite, sleek black lady of just 5 months old, and I'm here to tell you that I believe life is best enjoyed at a leisurely pace.
I was raised indoors by a sweet older couple alongside other kitties, so I'm quite accustomed to a peaceful little household. I'm gentle-natured and perfectly happy with the simple pleasures in life: a cozy spot to lounge, a little playtime, good company, and perhaps a nice nap afterward. No need to make a big production out of things!
Now, I certainly have a playful side. I'd be delighted to have a soft lap to curl up in, a comfy bed nearby, and a cat tree parked right beside a window so I can keep an eye on the neighborhood. A proper window seat would be lovely, too. I do enjoy a little people-watching!
Since my upbringing has been rather quiet and sheltered, I haven't had much experience with things like booming noises, busy households, or grabby little hands. I'd appreciate a home that lets me take new things at my own pace and gives me the gentle introduction I deserve.
But if you're looking for a sweet little companion to keep you company while you sip your coffee, read a book, fold the laundry, or simply enjoy a quiet afternoon together, I could be just the gal for you.

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
