Hi, I'm Tampa Bay! I'm a sleek, beautiful black kitty with a playful spirit, a curious mind, and a serious talent for making myself comfortable wherever I am.
I'm a little ball of energy who loves to have fun and explore, but I also know when it's time to slow things down and cuddle. One of my favorite activities is lounging in a sunny spot while I keep an eye on everything happening outside. Give me a window with a good view and I'll happily watch birds, people, and the world go by.
I'm not picky about my food, although I have to admit that wet food is definitely a favorite. I'm also an expert when it comes to the litter box, and when I'm feeling especially happy, you'll get to enjoy my purrs and biscuits - two things my foster family says they just can't get enough of.
I seem to be especially relaxed and comfortable in my current foster home. I did just fine in my previous home, which had other cats, too. There were five other kitties there, though, and I think that may have been a little more feline company than I needed! I'm absolutely fine with other cats, so if you already have one or two furry friends at home, I'll probably fit right in. I just seem to appreciate a little less hustle and bustle when it comes to my fellow felines. I may do best in a home where things are a little calmer and I can have plenty of space to be my happy, playful self.
If you're looking for a beautiful black kitty who can keep you entertained, join you for some window watching, and then curl up with you when the day winds down, I think we could be a pretty perfect match. I've got the purrs, the biscuits, and the personality - now I just need my forever home!
My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed.
If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.
Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
