I am a big-hearted, tail-wagging sweetie who is ready to find my forever family!
I love running, chasing my fur friends, playing fetch, and chewing on my favorite "fish bone" toys. I'm also quite the entertainer! I have so much fun tossing and shaking my toys around while I entertain myself. I'm definitely a hoot to watch!
I am 100% crate trained and will even go into my crate on my own sometimes when I want to relax. I sleep through the night like a good boy and never soil my crate. I'm currently working on staying calm and quiet while my people eat. For now, I happily rest in my crate during mealtimes while I work on mastering this skill.
I'm a very smart boy and have already learned "sit," "down," and "wait." I'm working hard on "come" and "drop-it." I really want to please my people and I am VERY treat motivated! ?? I also have wonderful puppy manners when taking treats-gentle as can be!
I'm working on my potty-training skills and doing very well. Sometimes I get distracted because, well...there are just so many exciting things to investigate! ?? Keeping me on a regular eating and potty schedule helps me be successful, and I'm making great progress.
I can be a little timid when I first meet people, but give me a little patience and I warm up quickly. Once I'm comfortable, my sweet personality really starts to shine.
Now, let me tell you about dogs! Other dogs are my favorite thing in the whole world. I truly come out of my shell and show my happy, playful side when I have a fur-friend around. Because of this, having a confident, energetic canine sibling in my forever home is a must. I would love a dog who can help show me the ropes and give me a buddy to play and explore with.
I'm also leash trained and get SO excited when I see my leash because that means adventure time! I love going new places, experiencing new things, and learning about the world around me.
When it comes to car rides, I'm calm and well-mannered. I'm always happy to go along for the ride-although my tummy doesn't always share my enthusiasm for longer road trips.
I'm a smart, loving, playful boy with a heart of gold. I'm still learning and growing, but I'm trying my very best every day. I'm looking for a forever family who will be patient with me, continue teaching me, and let me be the happy, silly, loving boy I'm meant to be.
