Hi! I'm Ernie!
My superpower is resilience. I came to Pawmetto with a pretty serious eye injury, and my eye had to be removed. But if you ask me, I think I'm even more handsome now! And don't worry-I can see great and my missing eye doesn't hold me back one bit!
I'm a happy little guy who loves EVERYBODY. I especially love playing with my foster brothers, Edgar and Einstein. I'm also a master at hunkering down and pouncing on my brothers when they least expect it. They never know when I'm coming!
I absolutely LOVE my toys. Balls, spirals, ropes, scratch pads... you name it, I'm ready to play! I'll play and play until I completely wear myself out, and then it's time to pass out for a serious nap.
I'm just as happy snuggling as I am playing. Want to play? LET'S PLAY! Want to snuggle? LET'S SNUGGLE! I'm pretty easygoing and just go with the flow. I love my people deeply, so lean in close because I have plenty of kisses to give.
I'm good with dogs and children, too! I really am the whole package-sweet, playful, cuddly, resilient, and ready to love my forever family.
My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 24 hours after my procedure is completed.
If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.
Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
