I'm a friendly guy who enjoys meeting new people, whether they're men or women. I love being part of the action and, if I'm being honest, I really enjoy being the center of attention! If you're looking for a dog who wants to be involved in whatever you're doing, I'm your guy.
I love going for walks, exploring the yard, and keeping an eye out for squirrels and deer. Those little critters are just too exciting to ignore! I know commands like "sit" and "stay"...unless there's wildlife nearby. Then, well...let's just say I get a little distracted.
I'm house-trained, walk nicely on a leash, and have great manners at mealtime. I also love toys, although I believe the stuffing belongs on the outside, not the inside! Treats are another favorite of mine, and I take them gently.
I enjoy the company of other dogs and love to play, though I can sometimes be a little enthusiastic for smaller dogs who aren't as interested in playtime as I am. I appreciate dog friends who enjoy my playful personality.
I've spent time around children of all ages. I love to play, but because I'm a bigger, enthusiastic guy, I can accidentally knock over babies and toddlers. I also tend to be a little shy around younger children who can be rough with me, so I'd do best with a family that understands my gentle nature and respects my space.
One important thing to know about me: I'm athletic enough to climb a fence, so I'll need a securely contained yard or a family committed to supervised outdoor time.

If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 24 hours after my procedure is completed.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
