Hi, I'm Forrest! I'm a big boy with an even bigger heart. I love to wrestle with my dog friends, chew on sturdy toys, explore the yard, and then settle in for some quality cuddle time. I'm the kind of guy who's just as happy playing tug-of-war as I am being a couch potato right by your side.
One of my cutest tricks is cocking my head when I'm confused, and if I want attention, I'll give you a little nudge for pets. I like to stay close to my people just in case something important is going on. I've got good hearing and like to check things out when something sounds suspicious, because keeping an eye on my home and family feels like important work.
I'm crate trained, housetrained, and still learning the rules since I'm a young guy, but I'm eager to please and come when called. I enjoy stretching out for long naps in my crate or on a soft bed after a day of fun. I'm not a wild shredder, but stuffy toys usually do not stand a chance, so I'd do best with tougher toys that can keep up with me.
So far, I've been mellow with the female dog I've met, and I haven't been tested with cats or kids yet. If you're looking for a gentle giant who can be playful, loyal, and sweet all at once, I just might be your perfect match. Come meet me and fall in love!

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
