Meet Harriett - a gentle senior tabby with a tender heart.
Hello there... my name is Harriett. I may be a little shy when we first meet. You might find me tucked into a cozy box or curled up in the sink while I quietly take in my surroundings. New places can feel a bit overwhelming for a sensitive girl like me, but once I feel safe, my true self begins to shine.
And what's that like? Well... I love love. Truly. Once I'm comfortable, I'll happily come out to soak up pets and snuggles. I'm also quite the talker - if I'm feeling lonely or hoping for attention, you'll definitely hear my sweet little cries letting you know I'd like some company.
I've been enjoying life in my foster home for the past few weeks, and my foster family has learned that I'm a soft, affectionate girl who just wants a calm place to belong. I mostly enjoy wet food (a lady has her preferences!) and I'm perfectly litter box trained. I came from a home where there were other cats around, though my foster home doesn't currently have other pets. I've also done well with older children who understand that a shy girl sometimes needs a little patience.
You might notice something a little special about my eyes - one pupil looks a bit different from the other. Don't worry though, it doesn't affect my vision at all. It just makes me a little more unique.
What I'm really dreaming of is a peaceful home where I won't have to spend too much time alone. I do get sad when I'm lonely, so having someone nearby to chat with, cuddle with, and share quiet moments with would mean the world to me.
If you have a calm home, a gentle heart, and room for a sweet senior who just wants to be loved, I think we might be perfect for each other.
Love,
Harriett
My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 24 hours after my procedure is completed.
