I've been with my family for about five months, and what a journey it's been. When they first found me, I was out on my own-hungry, tired, and just trying to survive. I followed neighborhood cats hoping to find food and water, and when someone finally reached out with a leash, I was so ready to trust that I simply sat down and went with them. That moment changed everything for me.
Now that I feel safe and loved, my true personality has blossomed. I'm a happy, affectionate girl who greets everyone like a friend-men, women, and kids alike. I get especially excited to meet new people and absolutely love attention and pets. If you've got treats, I'm your best girl (though I might grab them a little enthusiastically!).
I'm fully housetrained and walk great on a leash. In fact, walks are one of my favorite things-especially when I get to go with neighborhood kids and other dogs. I'm gentle with children of all ages and really enjoy being part of the action. Whether it's big dogs, small dogs, or even cats, I get along beautifully with everyone.
I'm not much into toys yet-I'm still figuring out how to "dog" sometimes-but I love running around the yard with my friends and just being included. I'd much rather soak up affection, explore the world on walks, and be by your side.
I know "sit" and "wait," and I'm eager to keep learning, especially if snacks are involved. I don't tear things up, I'm not destructive, and I don't have separation anxiety. I'm just a sweet, easygoing girl who's grateful for a second chance.

My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 24 hours after my procedure is completed.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
