Hey y'all! I'm Sassy - though "Rambunctious Purr Machine" might honestly fit me even better.
After spending my first 5 months playing it cool and acting a little shy, I've decided that humans are actually pretty wonderful. Now I love begging for treats by the bed every night, curling up on your knees, and playing with the blankets in the middle of the night. I've even started sleeping in the bed lately!
I've also discovered that chill dogs are pretty cool too, which has been a fun surprise.
When I'm not busy being adorable, I love zooming around the house chasing toys, playing with the other cats, and showing off my skills with a wand toy. I can play for quite a while before dramatically rolling over to request my favorite thing ever: neck scratches.
I'm still not a big fan of being picked up, and if you move too quickly I might scamper away, but every day I'm learning just how amazing human hands can be-they bring treats, scratches, and the best playtime.
If you're patient, gentle, and come prepared with lots of treats, I think we might just be the perfect match.
My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?
If my bio shows "Spay/Neutered" with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 24 hours after my procedure is completed.

Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you're welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we're closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.
